With the Titans on their bye, should they be incorporating DGB into the starting lineup for week-5?

    We can't do that. That would mean Whis would have to create mismatches and spread the field out. He's to busy feeding 3 rbs the ball and waiting for one of them to get hot. You clearly can't overload his thought process during a game.

    Safe to say we aren't even at the halfway point and Hunter still doesn't get it. Bring the name back because he sure as hell is
    " just another guy."

    What doesnt he get? I saw him make a pretty nice grab against Miami. He cannot beat press coverage, we knew this. But why we are pointing him out now? What about Douglas who drops a ball at least once a game?

    The big question is why are we using DGB on 3 yard hitch routes? Paul K and others say "see told you he sucks" but thats not why he is in there? You got a 6"5 guy, give him a few fades and let him go get it.

    What it takes to be a WR in this league. The guy has been inconsistent since he's been here, why do you think that whole JAG thing came about last year?? Because of his inconsistency, thats why Coach Jefferson came up with that idea to send him a message. Why do you think Whis called him out before the season? Because he's fed up with his sh*t. It's been three years and some people are still holding onto his "flashes" that he shows periodically. Yea he made a good grab against Miami but what happened last week against Buffalo when the game was on the line? He ran the wrong route. 3 years in the league at 6'4 and he still cant beat press coverage, there's your answer. And FYI Harry Douglas has one drop ball this year not 5.

    I defend guys on here as much as anyone, but I'm done with Hunter. He runs wrong routes and never looks for the ball. He turns routine catches into "good" catches because he is slow to react and has to do something extreme to get his hands on the ball.

    Douglas is a joke, look at tape besides game one. He has killed this team. Another point is your basing your argument around Whiz. Do you think he has any idea what he is doing right now? He has destroyed our running backs, never has had an answer for the o-line, and cannot win a game to save his life.

    HE NEVER COULD BEAT PRESS COVERAGE, you cant just start doing this well. But you could get coached up to do something positive. What receivers do we have that are good besides Wright? Even he disappears during games.

    Not to be mean, my point is with this team being 1-4 and getting destroyed against Miami, your picking on Hunter. It wasnt like we were expecting much out of him to begin with this year with his off the field situation.

    The GM should be the one who is under fire with trading a pick to move up to get him.

    But again, just a difference in opinion, not looking to get into anything with ya, just wish we would win

    I never said anything whether he is or isn't killing this team. You said he dropped a ball every game,I corrected you.

    My argument is based around the coaches who evaluate him everyday. When your coach and your WR coach come out and put you on blast for running the wrong routes dating back to last year who's fault is that? How Whis coaches the o-line and RBs as bad as he is has nothing to do with Hunter being consistent.

    He's coached by arguably the best WR coach in the NFL, if you can't beat press coverage after 3 years you shouldn't be in this league. Wright is consistent and makes plays when his number is called thats why he's on the field.

    No, we were expecting a lot from him this year. He was suppose to get his head out of his @ss and be the guy we drafted him to be. DGB's pick if anything should of fueled him. I'm picking on Hunter because he sucks and he continues to disappoint. A guy with his talents should be taking over games.

    Easy to point the finger at the gm but Hunter was givin more then his share of opportunities to produce not to mention coached by one of the best.

    Hunter has outplayed Douglas, I don't care about the past. He should get more looks and snaps at this point than Harry.

    I'm also not sure if Hunter's lack of production is as much on him, as it is on Whiz and his boring O.

    Line not blocking enough for routes to develop either, so its hard to tell if Hunter isn't 'turning around' fast enough (as someone pointed out) or if Marcus has to get rid of it earlier then the play's design (prob a combination of both).

    Also, new / rookie QB; so they all need a bit more time to develop rhythm together for sure regardless (just I wish it wasn't in Whiz's O).

    Anyway, regardless of all that, I've been impressed with DGB more so than almost everyone else. Not like we are going anywhere this season either, we might as well let him play as a starter opposite Wright or whoever, to let him grow with Marcus. That connection has promise...

    DGB's physically imposing nature/stature offers something Justin/Harry/Wright simply can't... He's also the only one who 'looks' like he can develop into a TRUE #1... And he's also shown pretty good hands in limited snaps as well.

    The fact we have the wr that we have and only kept three speaks volumes about how lost Whiz really is. I would bet we are the only team in the league with 4 wr and 5 te on our roster
