i never wanted Mariota, thought it was a bad pick. Should have drafted Leonard Williams with how bad our defense is

How funny it is a rookie QB gets his leg taken out from under him and continues to play . We had a QB who got hurt walking on the field. Yes he struggled today but he was leading his team. Was a rough day but didn't give up and continued to fight. Was a bad day but the kid has heart and is a leader. This was a 2-14 team. We see why. Our OLis playing so badly. Defense couldn't stop anybody today. It's not all Mariota fault. Yes he had a bad day. But this loss was a team loss.

 

I think Mary Yoda is going to be fine. I have known this entire year that this roster is sh*t, and because of that, I have been able to keep a level head about our team. We took the first RB off the board in Stankey (he stinks), took a guard at #10 who is average, traded up for a receiver in Hunter who hangs out in the shade, and just about every other move this organization has made has failed. We have to start over is all. DGB looks like the real thing at least- young talent to build around Mary Yoda with.

 

One person doesn't make a team. And when you have a team of cripples, your qb will become a cripple before too long.

I don't post often because damn their are some people on here who talk some **** most of the time. It's isn't all mariota, and mett is one of those cripples in the team.

Lots has to change in our patched together roster before anyone starts to look good, let alone Mariota.

The reason I wouldnt give Mett a go is because I would want to keep the Myth alive and get a beer for him when I trade him, rather then getting a kick in the ass when trying to trade a no win qb for something.

Here is the scoop, Mett isn't making a difference. The crap we have all over the park can't be fixed in one draft, let alone 1 first round qb. The drafting needs to be right 2-3 years in a row. Unfortunately we are getting it 20-30 percent right prolong our woes. Fix that and we could be okay in 2-3 years time.
