I say if we lose to the dolphins this week we throw in the towel for lack of better words and experiment new things. That way we ensure us another top 5 pick

Dont throw in the towel. Force Mariota to work on passes he struggles with.

I mean at this point if we lose to Miami who is in full rebuild mode already this season we might as well shut it down. Pointless going 8-8

Hard to get excited when the face of your franchise has no swagger and never gets excited. You would expect a qb to be super excited when they scored. Hell favre ran down the field full sprint. It looks like football is just a game and not a passion to Mariota. Not a good recipe for a leader

My concern about Mariota in the first place was making NFL throws.

While he has made some, he still needs to show he can make others. Were not good enough this year to go to the playoffs so lets make the season about him. Learn by fire.

I really dont care about his demeanor or anything else. I just want him to be able to make all the passes.

He can make the throws but if he doesn't have the intangibles he will never be a super bowl caliber qb

Hmm I'm not sure. I would like to see Whiz give up playcalling duties and let his coordinators coordinate. Stick to a RB I feel needs to be done
