#1 Passing Defense #3 Total Defense

Not having some spy on the guy who had 90% of his teams yards was the dumbest decision I've seen in a long time.

 

Casey took the blame for that one, said he missed an assignment

 

Even beyond that I dont get how no player was able to move in when he took off to atleast keep them at 4th and 10.

 

Well when u are playing man and everyone's back is turned to the qb it's pretty easy to run 20 yards if ur qb is quick

 

He would probably be in discussion... but he's in the the same category as Geno Atkins, Fletcher Cox, and Gerald McCoy IMO. None of those guys get much talk for DPOY, so idk if Casey would.

However, he better get in the Pro-Bowl this year.

 

Any game Geno Atkins is active in he gets talked up a lot. I only catch a couple of Bengals games a year, but he's constantly being mentioned when I do see the Bengals play. Him and Casey are a lot alike, as soon as the talent around Casey is up to par with the Bengals Casey will become a perennial pro bowler..

 

Only we could have those Defensive numbers and be 1-3 lol.

 

I already posted this in another thread. Everyone pretty much beat me up about it. But I thought it was a nice positive. Regardless of who we played. You want your team to execute. People are never satisfied. If they team had a bad defense everyone would be saying they can't even beat scrubs. But here it is they are dominating weaker offenses and people are putting it down because they aren't elite offenses.

Can't win for losing...lol

 

Yeah actually our issue is when our 20 yard plays happen. Definitely have to be some kind of anomaly.

 

I mentioned this in a previous forum when everyone was whining about the loses. I basically said we need to turn up the intensity and get nastier on defense. I referenced the exact stat you are talking about now. Back then it was us and the Ravens who had that stat.
