If Mariota continues to struggle how long till Mett?

    not a red flag if mariota continues his r.o.y. Season. They could just say "of course we took mariota, hes a generational talent, even though we believe metts franchise QB material, we had to take mariota"

    dallas needed a third string qb. Mett couldnt be had for what dallas gave for cassel.
    if roeth is out for the season, id trade for mett if I was Pitt. Mett could throw the deep ball that o thrives on..not saying hes as good as Ben, but he wont be a terrible drop off. Then mett gets to sit behind Ben for a couple years and take over.

    Dallas isn't trying to develop a young qb right now (though they should soon). They just want to come out of Romos recuperation time with a shot still at a title with these stopgap quarterbacks.

    Mariota is the brightest spot this team has had in a long time. There are so many more things to complain about before our rookie QB. If anyone hates on Mariota they are unequivocally NOT a fan of this team. PERIOD. F off :). #doubleagents.
