Lol that he and whiny Hunter were visibly upset when MM was drafted. Guess he's not too upset today.

Settle down bevis. They were not upset, there was no reaction because they knew it was coming.

I blame the Titans for putting their players in the public when it came out. There was no sense of excitement from those two. that's for sure.

If you are going to put players out there, you'd bettet coach them up to act excited. Mariota may be this franchise's saving grace, but outside of his potential, this leadership is fairly clueless on how to relate to the public.

but MM looks great. Only a reason for celebration today. If the Titans keep winning, all of the other stuff is completely irrelevant.

Jurrell Casey just keeps getting better every year.

There were multiple times he split a double team and then just made the running back or the help look stupid in a matter of seconds.

On the play where Kendall spun out of a tackle and almost scored a TD, he absolutely murdered the DBs ankles at the LOS. He's got some good moves, nice to see a ball delivered to him in a timely and accurate manner.

Orakpo played really well, seemed like he was getting held half the time. Him and Morgan look to be a good pass rush combo.

    And time for Sankey.

They guy I'll never hesitate to bash and have zero faith in, made some good plays and helped bring balance to the offense. If he would of gotten work horse amount of carries today, easily would of went over 100 yards.

I hope he can keep that up, and I'll gladly eat crow and admit I was wrong about him.

Oh yeah, and as one of the very few "Griff defenders" on here. Dude was playing well and made some good tackles. I thought I'd be able to come on here after the game and say he didn't miss any tackles till he ****ed that up and whiffed on the ASJ TD.

    Come on man lol.

The whole "well these great QBs had bad rookie seasons and turned out good" argument is stupid! Those are exceptions not the norm! How many rookies have bad first years and continue to suck?! MANY more than turn out to be great...

Yes, a rookie can have a bad year and get better. But more often than not in the NFL you have it or you don't. Just because some of the best QBs in the league didn't have great rookie campaigns doesn't mean every player can/will turn it around.

There's a reason that there are only a handful of elite level QBs and most of those have been around for years. Those type of guys don't come around every year.

So looking at the Browns game next Sunday and I believe this is another ideal matchup for the Titans.

-Their OL appears to be overrated entering the year. Their QBs had no time and similar to us, had a few holding penalties. I feel like our front 7 will be able to take advantage of this.

-They don't really have many weapons outside, so this is another game that we can survive without McCourty. Especially if we can continue to get pressure on the QB.

-Defensively they have trouble generating a pass rush. Their defensive backs are good but when the QB has all day to throw then someone is going to get open. If Ryan Fitzpatrick could take advantage of that then I'm sure Mariota will be able to make some plays as well.

Once again, going to come down to the play in the trenches. I have faith Mariota will be able to produce but our OL needs to clean up their play a bit and our DL will need to be able to continue to get pressure on the QB. Their run game also doesn't appear to be that strong so hopefully the Doug Martin production today was just a fluke.

I'm eager to see how Mariota continues to progress as defenses get more and more film on him. The Browns have some nice DBs so this will be a nice but very passable test.
