    I loved how fast Mariota was releasing the ball, accurately.

    bad tampa team or not his throws still looked solid

    Yeah that's what I'm saying. Maybe we were playing a bad team. Hell, maybe we were playing the worst team in the league. But none of that changes the fact that Mariota looked like a seasoned pro in his first ever NFL game. Would Mett have had that kind of game? Locker? VY? Very, very doubtful.

    This was just Tampa bay but it looks like we might be a lot closer to clawing out way out of the AFC basement than I thought we might be this season.. looking forward to next week. If we pull a W out at Cleveland I'm going to pardon a lot of folks from my sh!tlist for a while

    It's nice watching post game shows seeing the talking heads say TN should beat Cleveland next week. Not long ago we were the worst ranked team by these same types of people

    I saw Mariota compared to Aaron Rogers pre-draft by Tony Dungy and some draftniks, and that's exactly who I saw today. We're in great hands.

    That's my feeling on it. The things Mariota did well would have been just as good against a good team. Quick decisions and accurate passes like he threw the whole game beat good teams! He did everything a rookie QB needs to do to be successful.

    It will get harder against tougher competition but it's hard to disrupt any QB getting off passes in .4 seconds accurately. I don't care how good you are.

    It'll get harder when there's nfl tape on him

    Tampa even said 3 days ago they don't know what TN plans to do.. we caught them looking the other way, that changes with 3-4 weeks worth of tape..
