Cam threw for 422 yards in his debut. He had a passing rating of 110 with one TD and one int.

Mariota was even better. Mariota was so damn good he didn't need to throw for big yardage. His ultra efficient play gave us a huge lead before he had 200 yards.

Mariota's efficiency in the red zone was other worldly.

We scored on 5 of 6 drives? That was on the late games coverage.

First 6 drives equalled 5 TDs. That's a stat I could get used to seeing from the Titans.

I know you didn't"give" him to us, but I cannot help but saying THANK YOU for giving us MM!

Please help us settle something. We have a thread looking for a Nick name for Marcus, of course in fun. Did he have a Nick name out there? Please share. Welcome aboard!

Remember when we couldn't score a TD in the red zone? Mariota makes it look easy. I'm hyping him up I don't care.

I'm just now thinking and remembering when we drafted VY and all the commercials started appearing...all featuring boasting and hip hop culture and self-congratulating. Contrast that with Mariota's commercial persona. Pretty easy to see who's the winner.

@ GOFIGURE, I think Pineapple Express is one nickname he had. I'd say it's a good one too.

He would've been but Mariota had a better start than VY.

    Could be the 2nd coming.

Well--Tampa Bay didn't take him so I guess y'all get the booby prize.:D

Not much in the way of nick names other than "Super Mario" or the "Flyin Hawaiian." Given the limited options I'll take option # 2.

Marcus really is a special talent. Of course it's the NFL and it's a huge step up; but if your O-Line can protect the guy, I like the kid's chances.

I use the word "kid" intentionally as he's still 21 years old.:bliss:

I'll take the credit for Giving you MM if you take the credit for giving me the reason to care about the NFL again.

    GO TITANS.:beerbang:

Addicted to these little guys BTW:highfive:
