His teammates were outmuscled, out quicked and just beat by the opposition. They couldn't get open and when they did, they didn't make the play. The coach was out coached. Even if he went in with the right intent and mindset ready to win. It wouldn't make a difference if the team wasn't ready and able to compete. Il say it again. Not his fault.

Partially his fault. He didn't play well and turned the ball over

For me this kid has really shown some promise with just a few games under his belt. Granted it is just preseason, but he has shown up and done some good things. I'm not sure if I'm a little more impressed than I should be just because of the poor quarterback play that we have had over the last decade basically. He had a throw against Atlanta that was 3rd and 12 I believe and it wasn't anything special, but he completed the pass for a 1st down. For me as a Titans fan over the last few years if we were in a 3rd and long situation I chalked it up as a punt already. I'm not calling him our savior because that'd be a little premature, but I'm already thankful that we passed on whatever draft packages that were sent our way back before the draft. He's a ball player and will improve where he makes mistakes. It's also nice to see Zack's play improve. I'm sure some have questioned with what he's done this preseason should we have taken Mariota? I disagree, I think it's great to have 2 productive QB's. I'm a fan.

Outside of Tennesse or some LSU homers, no one gives a chit about Mett. Yes, I'm an Oregon Alumn and will always root for MM but I just don't understand why soooo many Titans fans still think Mett is the answer and should be the starter, that's just crazy. Now, I'm not a recent Titans fan because of MM. MM actually help bring me back. I've been a Titans guy ever since the days of McNair and Eddie, just stopped watching after they drafted Locker. I followed Locker because he was a Huskie and they're our ultimate nemesis. But I knew he was a wasted 1st rounder pick. He was horrible in college and it made me so mad the Titans drafted him.

Mett is a good backup to have but Marcus has it all, gifted athlete with speed and quickness, throwing accuracy, intelligence, natural leader and desire to lead and win. Only thing Mett has on him is arm strength.

I think to answer this posts question from the stand point of, this far into the season........

I have zero doubt that we have our franchise guy for a long future. I think it is possible, in a decade, that the announcers will be talking "future hall of famer" when they call titans games. Like they do with brady and egghead M. I think, if we get the right pieces, Yoda will have more than one SB appearance with at least one victory.

This young man is special. I don't watch college ball so I know nothing of his past. One thing I have heard is that he didn't play in the fourth quarter. Supposedly do to such large leads. Is that true? Don't know, but it's promising as hell. But, this kid gets better every week. He makes this team better every week despite themselves. He is very smart, and one heck of an athlete. Hello 87 yd td. Can't believe he's that fast. His release is one of the quickest I've seen. He needs to feel the pocket pressure a bit quicker, but his fumbles have come way down. He needs to learn to Look Off safeties and LB's, but he will. He's still a rookie. He's "getting it". Plus, he is a solid leader.

Would not surprise me to learn that half the starting QB's have Yoda fatheads that they use as dart boards.

We have a future with Yoda.

I figured it would be around 3200. Did not expect as many passing TDs. I thought he would be running a bit more as well. Nice to be wrong
