    well..mett finished on the worst team, likely. Without looking at numbers, had the worst ground game, and probably the most penalized team..not trying to excuse everything but what would really put this in perspective is the ratio of how much time was the team behind compared to ahead. Like if Tennessee spent more time ahead than Oakland or Jacksonville. Then itd be more telling of a bad trend.

    obviously either side will say mett held the team down or the team held him down..but considering the team was 2-8 with vet qbs, then I might swing it slightly In metts favor.

    Again ... I am not saying it is Metts fault that the team was in the situations. That is not the point I am trying to make at all.

    Mett can only play from the situation he was dealt, whether that be due to bad running, penalties, etc ... it might not be his fault that he had to play from in the +10 yards to go situations so many times.

    All I am saying is he DID play in those situations ... and the stats show that those situations are easier to complete passes in.

    Mett, through no fault of his own, had a lot of yards accrued when the situation was easier for him to accrue them. That's all I am saying.

    What's in bold is why your posts on Mett don't hold much weight ... you say things without looking them up 1st. At least I did my research on the guy before I started making claims about if he is good or not.

    Then you say you only bring up facts lol


    The reality is that Titans had the 26th ranked running game. Oakland was actually last.

    Titans were ranked 14th in fewest total penalties committed ... not even close to last.

    well this discussion to me isn't one I want to put a lot of energy into. I'm not gonna sit here and argue garbage time when we have for months.. You have your opinions on metts season I have mine. What tells me mett is good and will be good aas what I saw on the field..his stats back that up.

    In fact...the mere fact you spend so much time tryna prove mett isn't that good, and have to go into baseball type stats to do it, means he's pretty good.

    so @Titan43 this is why I don't put any weight into all your fancy charts and stats...youre very biased.

    the titans were in fact the 9th ranked teamlmao. in offensive penalties..
    you know the only kind that directly relates to metts stats. Lmao. Debunked again. Ahead of both the raiders and jags..

    LOMFL ... I give up. You obviously live in a dream land where Mett has some great stats. In real life his stats aren't all that good. I have presented that multiple times in multiple formats, looking at them from multiple angles .... THEY ALL SUGGEST OTHERWISE. You have never been able to counter with real numbers (I was hoping you would, then maybe we could have a real debate. I will gladly admit I'm wrong if the data is there to back up a claim)

    But its okay. You keep your imaginary stats, I am sure they make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside. LOL.

    Hey, you never know, maybe if Mariota gets injured then Mett can come ride in on his unicorn down the rainbow and onto the field and lead our team to 5000 superbowls.

    What are you talking about ... I said the titans were ranked 14th in penalties. (total) you said they were dead last in penalties (you did not specify offensive) ... I only grabbed the data you asked for. I never made any conclusions from penalty data

    and again you are completely missing the point.

    I never cared how they got into those situations. It really doesn't matter if it was penalties, bad run game, whatever ... all that matters is Mett had an easier defensive front to face on +10 yard to go situations. Which helped boost his stats
