Andrews isn't slow, RB is more about hitting the holes hard and having a little wiggle, he has all that...

Im seriously wondering why he's not getting more snaps... he's our best RB IMO

Like I've said before, only logically explanation I can think of is they're trying really hard to force Sankey to be the guy.

He was the first overall running back taken last year, and if they let Antonio in games have a chance to out shine him, then Whiz and Ruston look dumb af for picking Sankey when an undrafted guy is out playing him.

That's what happens when you name him Bishop :)

Our RBs suck...Sankey is soft..Cobb is unproven and now hurt...Andrews?? I don't know enough about him..McClusterF**k needs to be replaced with Pierre Thomas imo

Who cares if Andrews outshines Sankey..play the best RB...nothing is handed to them

Our staff likes exhausting every option on guys they went out and signed, I hate that about them, never want to admit they screwed up. See Mccluster, Levitre, Griffin, and others

The problem with home run guys like CJ is there inconsistency. Negative runs means unsustained offense which means you lose TOP and have a tired D getting beat up.

They want bigger and shiftier backs who will be more consistent so we can have a more consistent offense. Sankey and McCluster are not gonna take many to the house from long range but they can get you chunk plays of 10-25 yards. While these aren't huge, expect similar chunk plays in the passing game from Mariota in the 15-35yd range. Even in college he was not the bomb it down the sideline to the guy running a GO route. He's hit the guy at 10-20yds running down the seam and if that guy can take it to the house...great!!! if not, we got a nice chunk play!

Confusion apparently...at RB, at OL (though they took ONE babystep in benching Levitre), etc

Only guy they are getting 'right' is Mariota so that's something!!! now if our GM could just cut the bad players who cost a fortune and sign good players who upgrade our biggest needs (even though he doesn't seem to know what those are), we might get somewhere. Course, Whiz needs to protect our QB and hold players accountable like he said he would (but didn't) last season!!! He also needs to unveil his 'mismatch offense' which he said we'd use but didn't last year.

I'm not sure I'd give him that label yet. He's definitely our best pass protector and chipper and can really run pass routes out of the backfield and he's a tough runner. I do agree he needs more snaps.

Anyone know which RB's play ST besides McCluster whos a returner?

McCluster contributed a bit in the run game this preseason.

Sankey showed up in the second game and played like I thought he would last year.

Andrews has made the most of the few opportunities he's had. But theres something there we don't know about...he looks like the best back, yet some guy named fluellen was getting all the carries last game while Andrews had 1 carry for a TD.

Maybe there's still hope for the run game. I think they've pieced together the oLine about as well as possible with what's available on the roster. Give those guys a few more weeks together and they should be better.

One of the RBs HAS to step up and play like they want to be the man.

Only thing I don't agree with is that Poutasi has technique issues he should be fixing in practice, not getting our QB killed. That's not gonna get fix by the OL coming together, that's something he needs to fix. It is this same technique issue why almost everyone besides the Titans felt like he was a 4th rnd pick at best and probably would have to play RG.
