Could Titans Issues Be Mostly Coaching Related And Changes Needed

If he indeed doesn't pan out, then yes it will be... But to be fair, both Sank and Andy were arguably the top ranked guys (RB in the draft and OG in FA), so he gets a pass on those. We all were giddy when they were added to the roster.

However, saying that I do have a problem with a lot of the things he has and has not done during his stint here.

 

It is inarguable that Sankey was the best RB in the draft. The only people who would make that argument are Ruston Webster and retards.

 

I think most of us are on the Mariota bangwagon at this point, kid has looked great. But if you became a fan of the Titans and are looking for immediate success you've come to the wrong place. Its going to be a gradual rebuild over the next 2-3 years.

But the QB is the most important piece and the one we haven't had since McNair. If Mariota pans out like we think he will eventually we'll surround him with better talent.

I'm watching Harbaugh going after every Redskin, love fire from the Head Coach. That team totally takes on his identity....as does ours:(

 

Last season I said the Titans will never win a Super Bowl with Whiz as the head coach.

I stand by that. Won't happen.

 

Lack of talent will be our drawback again this season, not coaching imo.

 

Anyone says whiz doesn't have fire, needs to remember what we upgraded from.

Anyone who says fire is a requisite for a head coach is full of it anyway. Plenty of calm guys have been successful in this league.

 

I have no expectations, I'm just giving my feelings on the question. I think Whisenhunt is an alright coach. I don't understand the player personal plan that has been executed. I think Whisenhunt is a victim of poor player personal moves. Which brought on the "maybe taking Mariota and not trading the pick was the wrong move as well". I don't believe that. But if he can't be protected and becomes hurt because of it. What good is he on the bench? The team had holes in so many areas.
