Pre-Game Thread Preseason Game 3: Titans @ Chiefs

I know it is local, but outside of that I'm not sure.

 

It's on NFL Network, but there's another game at the same time I think, so it may depend on where you're at. Just a guess though.

 

Our rookies need to go after half time at least once before the regular season.

Guys like our rookie RT rly need this preseason games.

 

Injuries are gonna happen regardless, too many people freak out because of a preseason injury.

Can't do anything about non contact injuries(Jordy), so should they stop practicing as well?

 

I'm so OK with our starters not playing much. Who really gives a chit to win in pre-season. I've seen enough to know there aren't any starter position battles left only depth.

 

This isn't about injury, I just want to the preseason to end so the regular season starts.

According to Yard Barker the Titans worst starting player is ....
Avery Williamson.

Yep. They went through all 32 teams and picked who they felt was the worst starting player on the roster. And for the Titans they picked Avery Williamson.

You know the linebacker that was a rookie last year as a 5th round pick.

107 Total Tackles
3 sacks
2 Fumble Recoveries
8 Tackles for a loss
8 QB Pressures

As a rookie was the playcaller on defense and still is going into this year.

Was named by ESPN as the AFC South Rookie of the Year.

And this guy is our worst starter?

Not at Running Back, Left Guard, Center or Right Tackle where we don't even have a clear cut starter.

Not Michael Griffin who has been one of the lowest rated safeties in the league the last 2 years.

Not defensive end opposite of Jurrell Casey where they pretty much just rotate in and out players.

 

Just another case of a national reporter not having a clue about our roster.

 

Griffin has been a solid starter for us. He's been a good titan and one of the rare players who sticks around. He's a good role model for the younger players
