I liked Fowler.....but not the LB and Blackson pick when there was a major hole at RT. I pray Gallick subs Schwenke

Our offensive line has been garbage ever since Kevin Mawae retired! lol bring him back! Id rather Velasco play center than Schwenke! I wish they would bring in someone, really don't care who, but I don't see them bringing anyone in. I guess we will have to suffer with what we have! Hopefully they continue to shuffle things around and they figure something out!

We picked a gahdamn fullback in the 4th.

A 25 year old fullback in the 4th round.

Let that sink in for a moment.

    The 4th round... A FB...

How do people like that pick??? I don't get it at all.

@Alex1939 can you explain how a FB is worth a 4th??

What was the highest selected FB in the last 10 years?? What have they done??

I keep saying but people on here keep blowing it off...

How many times did our 1st offense use a Fullback?

We passed on a number of true RTs(not projected Guards) in order to take a Fullback who will play special teams.

    Would've rather taken a Kicker

I guess I'd say I'm a fan of the Fowler pick. I think definitely find a use for him. Multi threat guy in the background, has good hands, can block, potentially run the ball good. I think he'll be more of a FB/H-Back combo then just pure FB. Move him around before the play. Its up to Wisenhunt how creative he can be to find a use for this guy. I don't think he'll tip his hand in preseason though, gotta wait till the real season

Why though... They've been complete garbage and continue to be.

No clue why Webster won't do obvious things (sign wiesenwski). An inept line is going to be reason #1 him and Whisenhunt are getting canned next year.

Regarding Mathis I'd be for signing him if it doesn't hurt the cap too much. Not sure how much we would get back if we cut Levitre and how much cap we have left. Hes definitely an upgrade. The only downside is his age... only here for 2, maybe 3 years.

You gotta figure his asking price is out there though, hes an elite player who hasn't been signed yet. Not sure what to make of that, just waiting for a team to lose a guard to injury or get desperate I guess.

I don't know why, but Fowlers age is blowing my mind.

Did he play baseball or was he in the military or something? Did he have a couple of medical redshirt seasons in college?
