Training Camp August 7, 2015

I will say that Klug has become one of my favorite players on the team. I love those high motor guys. And now they are plugging him in on offense as well just shows how coaches live it when a guy is versatile.

 

Homeboy seems to be impressed with your Delaware boy Blackson.

 

I've always liked Klug. Not a super star player, but always seems to show up when he is out there.

 

I like his attitude a lot.

 

Yeah. I live in Northern Delaware. He went to Red Lion Christian, which is like 15 minutes from me. DE had him and Josh Watson (my wife taught him) DT for Broncos, come out last year. I was surprised to see Blackson taken so early. He has size and he is a hometown boy, so I will get behind him. I am pulling for Watson in Denver too...Awesome kid, with insane strength. D Morgan went to Coatesville (I grew up in West Chester PA) which is very close as well. A lot of hometown guys on our squad, and in the league. I like it.

 

The problem is how do you put Klug in without tipping your hand that you are running the ball?

 

Thats the goal, lure them in then beat em with play action

remember, Fowler was drafted because he can also catch the ball

 

The reddit post said Klug caught two TD passes. Looks like we're going to have a tricky goaline O. Love the sound of that.

 

I would expect Mariota and the starters to get a lot more than 2 series, they clearly need it. Hell, I'd like to see them get a half, they need as many reps as possible.

 

Being that we have new moving pieces on offense they might get a little more than 2 series, but generally coaches dont want to expose guys to unnecessary hits. Im expecting 20-25 plays tops.
