I think as far as the AFC South we can get 4 wins

Too much optimism maybe but it's possible.

We gotta finally beat the jags twice. Split with the Texans and Colts??

 

You know they are saying the same thing.

 

Least talented roster in the NFL? No way. If the offensive line can get it together, they have the ability to be a top ten unit. The wide receiver group has the potential to be a matchup problem IF Mariota can get the ball there on time and accurately. Walker is as complete a tight end as you will find in the league. Defensively Casey and McCourty would start on any team in the league. Our LB group is unproven and or recovering from injury. If Orakpo can return to form it's going to allow Zach Brown to flourish, he has all the ability in the world. I like the addition of Searcy and Cox, both can play in this league. 2-14 I get it, your going to not have a lot of nice things to say. But this team has a diverse mix of ability and some of the best overall team speed in the NFL. It's just a matter of them proving it week in and out.

 

Mariota had a solid day. 12/18 with 3 drops with pads on is nice.

 

A lot of "IF's" my friend. Lol

 

You can't really blame talking heads from saying we have a weak roster.

Especially considering half of those people dont spend time watching film or study up on every player on every team. So they're just going with what the know or their gut half the time they open their mouth.

I was having lunch with some friends yesterday. All big fans, I am in a fantasy league with them. We were looking at our favorite teams roster.

When they looked at the Titans they started laughing saying we're gonna suck.

Some of the comments were "Your ILB position is horrible. Who tf is Zach Brown and Avery Williamson, that's horrible."

"There is nobody on y'alls team that can rush the passer, except Orakpo. All your defensive lineman are terrible." Um, no. Casey is probably a top 5 DE. "Oh, well IDK, I've never heard of him."

"Mariota will be good but has nobody to throw the ball too. Walker is decent but he isn't elite or a go to player. I haven't heard anything about Kendall Wright since Baylor."

I would keep going but pretty much the whole conversation about the Titans was "I've never heard of this guy or seen him so he probably sucks."

You could say as Titans fans we are homers so we see potential in some of our players and the players that we have that would be pro-bowl players on other teams get no love or recognition so they aren't household names.

So can't fault anyone for thinking we have absolutely no talent, because I'm about 110% unless your fan or actually cover the Titans you probably don't know **** about them at all.

 

Do people actually pay any attention to the 'soothsayers' on ESPN?

Jamie Dukes was talking about us last night saying Ken Whisenhunt will have to get used to the shotgun, I laughed at how clueless of statement that was to make on TV. We ran a TON of shotgun last year.. people have no clue about the Titans...
