I'm honestly thinking a 2 loss team will win the SEC this year. It's going to be brutal this season.

Do OSU fans talk with a Jamaican accent? Jamaican me crazy.

Who links to Bleacher Report as reputable?

Again it is disingenuous to claim OSU gained an advantage by starting the 3rd best QB on their team. Cardale converted several 3rd downs WITH HIS LEGS not his arm. Cardale is probably the worst runner of the 3 QBs.

    Tomato, tomăto I guess.

I think the advantage was Cardale effectively throwing a deep ball which was Alabama's kryptonite last year since they were constantly beat over the top against Auburn/Missouri.

Which is something we discussed I believe before the game, except I didn't think Alabama's 3rd down defense could get any worse, but it did.

    1. Not Jamaican, just barely intelligible.
    2. Also linked Deadspin, but regardless, those were just the examples that popped up when I went looking; I'm sure had I wanted to spend more time on this I could have found more "acceptable sources" from 6 months ago.
    2. He may not have been the best runner speed wise, but the other two sure as hell wouldn't have been trucking through players like he was (at least, not without their ACLs snapping).

No, they would have burned Alabama's D.

I've openly admitted Cardale was not much of a drop off talent wise. You all should watch the Wisconsin game. Cardale can throw the deep ball with velocity but his accuracy on deep balls isn't any better than Braxton and JT's.

My argument is OSU didn't end up with any advantage having Cardale at QB regardless of the perception. There were two deep passes completed by Cardale in the Sugar Bowl, neither being plays where he ran around and threw a hail mary.

Now if you want to say Cardale killed Bama's 3rd down defense with his legs then you'd be correct but we all know Braxton and JT have superior albeit different running abilities.

Again, and this is more aimed at jpuss, to claim Cardale was the advantage that gave OSU the victory is without basis when one actually breaks down the Sugar Bowl and skill sets of the 3 QBs.

Without question. Braxton could have done some trucking of his own though they wouldn't have gotten close enough to him to matter.

I don't think he realizes that Braxton is 6'2 220lbs. That's just as big as Zeke and Zeke didn't seem to have too much trouble running through Bama tackles.

Reading comprehension son, you need to get some.

I've said Cardale in the end was a probable advantage. A lot of people thought (and wrote about) that going into the game. Dude was more physical and I'd imagine has more of an arm than the other two. There was also the fact that Bama had virtually no tape on the dude, but that's possibly stretching a bit.

But even then, my whole point has been that going on and on about beating Bama with a third string quarterback is stupid considering the circumstances. I would say disingenuous, but your apparent inability to pick up on this fact after I've stated it outright several times has caused me to abandon that generosity.

Seriously think of what Braxton can do at the H-Back position. He's got all of the speed and elusiveness at 220lbs that Percy Harvin had at 178lbs.

This offense this year will be ridiculous.

Bragging about beating Bama with a 3rd string QB isn't disingenuous no matter how good your 3rd stringer is. Was there any other team in the nation that was 3 deep at QB last year and that could win it all with a 3rd stringer?

It's impressive and something to brag about because it speaks to how deep OSU was at QB.
