Lamont Thompson and Reynaldo Hill not only being on the 53 man roster but starting in the defensive backfield.

If you had to pick one REALLY BAD decision out of all the other decisions that could be second guessed it would be letting Lorenzo Neal go. They signed him in 1999, and Eddie ran for 1304 yards with an average of 4.1 yards per carry with the Titans going to their first Super Bowl. In 2000 Eddie ran for 1509 yards ans an average of 3.7 yards per carry, and if not for Baltimore in the playoffs, who knows? The next year Neal went to the Bengals, where Corey Dillon ran for 1315 yards. During that same year Eddie ran for 939 years with an average of 3 yards per carry. The following year, 2002, Neal helped Corey Dillon run for 1311 yards.
In the five seasons following this Neal was with the Chargers, helping secure LaDanian Tomlinson's place in NFL history. Eddie's numbers would improve some past 2001, but by 2004 he was a Dallas Cowboy.
Chemistry is everything, as as we've seen in the decade since it is very hard to assemble and keep assembled.

I think promoting munchack to head coach when he was the OL coach . That was a mistake. Because of that we drafted Locker as well because he was a Munchack guy. Those two moves pushed us back. But time to move up now. Go Titans.

I know everyone likes to tie Locker to Munch, but I don't think he really had a choice.

We needed a QB, and Locker was obviously their highest rated QB on the board.

But yea, promoting Munch to HC was dumb. Maybe we wouldn't be having these O-line problems if he was still the line coach.

It killed me that we even ventured close to having such oline problems with him as headcoach. Take control... you're the HC!

Wasn't the only QB on the roster Rusty Smith?

Yea, painfully obvious a QB was getting taken there.

If it wasn't for the lockout during Munch's first year, we could have signed Hasselbeck before the draft and not had to reach for a QB. They were in a bad spot with Rusty being the only QB on the roster. It doesn't make their decision the right one, but it does help explain it.

Without Brady I think the Bengals are a better team than the pats... Agree or disagree?
