Upside vs vet experience. Fitz can squeek out a few wins if things go right for the team. It's when he goes in to panic mode and tries to do too much that he screws up, IMO.

Fitz would be a franchise QB (think andy dalton) if he had any kind of arm strength, but with that said, hes a lousy starter due to not having the arm this league calls for

Its not his a strength its his decisions. His arm was/might still be strong enough

CBJ is a suitable backup. If he weren't on such a horrible team last season, I bet people around the league would be singing his praises this year. Put him on a competent team, and he may be able to win a few games for a team with an injured QB. But the Titans sucked from top to bottom last year, besides at Tight End. Was definitely better than Locker.. although that's not saying a lot.

Brandon Marshall was traded for a fifth, so I don't think Mett is more valuable than Marshall, maybe even if he goes to a team that really needs a QB like the Jets or Bills. I'd say his value is probably still where we got him as a 6th round draft pick, he's shown glimpses of being able to start but also never won a game.

Exactly. Its seems like the some of the highest IQ players off the field make the dumbest decisions on the field.

Marshall had off the field issues/attitude problems. That hurt his stock. If he had the attitude of Reggie Wayne, he may have gone for a 1st or 2nd rounder.

I do agree that Mett has very little trade value, though. 5th or 6th would be good if they ever traded.

Do you think he could be a starter for any NFL team right now?
