    I have been pondering on whether to watch it myself as it's kind of out of the main stream like Guardians, which I really like. So I very well may watch it.

    Winter Soldier is still the best Marvel movie so far.

    Batman vs Superman is going to be like 4 hours long if they do it correctly, i.e. give the characters enough screen time. Unless they pull an Amazing Spider-Man 2 and give Wonder Women a Rhino amount of time, which would be awesome to watch feminist flip their **** about.

    Curious how we will "learn" who this Batman is. Every Batman is different, it seems. Only real concern I have is character building for Batman and Wonder Woman.

    Origins are almost all the same for Batman, but every film version of Batman, Wayne mainly, is different.

    Yep.

    They have two more heroes to develop, the villain and then there's Superman.

    Bring some coffee, it's going to be a long ass movie.

    Superman's way more lighthearted than this recent crap they're putting out. Man of steel was awful. It made Jonathan Kent look like an ass hole instead of a good father figure. This "more grounded" junk with Superman makes him an antihero rather than what he actually is.

    More like conflicted God figure

    His father was great in MoS. The flashbacks to his childhood were some of the best scenes.

    The entire basis for this DC film universe is the world's reaction the what is essentially a god suddenly living among them.

    Superman is a god, a saviour. It is a great burden. People don't take kindly to God figures. They tend to turn on them.

    The "faster than a speeding bullet, eat your veggies" Superman left in the 70's.


    The Marvel movies skipped this for the most part. The people seem oddly okay with super powered beings showing up and wrecking things but it sounds like they will address it in Civil War finally.
