Why does DC make every superhero a dark depressed individual. They're completely ruining Superman. He's supposed to be the universal good guy who is a bit naïve. No, now he's a brooding figure just like Batman that doesn't know his place in the world. Oh and Lex Luthor looks absolutely retarded. Horrible choice in actor, and he just looks stupid.

Superman takes off. Superman lands. CGI buildings topple over.

    The end.

That Joker looks amazing. DKR version with shades of New 52

Love it. Leto is also an elite actor.

Morgot Robbie is my favorite white woman

Because their characters are darker for the most part.

Superman is not a light hearted character.

Man of Steel was terrible two thirds of the movie was boring as **** and the last 40 minutes was just Superman and Zod committing genocide on Metropolis.

The last 40 minutes was total desensitization too. When everything on the screen explodes it loses all impact. There's no feeling when an entire building full of people is grounded.

The last 40 minutes is the basis for the DC Universe expanding films including the initial conflict between Batman and Superman.

It is almost like... they planned it seeing how the characters in the next film are responding in the same way that the audience did watching Man of Steel.

Snyder wanted to show that Superman was capable of destruction on a frightening scale, that his power is almost god-like.

Superman is a Christ story written by a Jewish man and later writers made it even more so over the decades.

Man of Steel is the first film to get the Superman character right. There might have been some script issues but the portrayal of the character was pretty spot on and I'm interested to see where they take him.
