    I bought a 1980 Chevette for $200 about 7-8 years ago. Drove that thing 60+ miles a day for over a year. Finally saved enough to buy an S10 from my dad and gave him the Chevette in the deal. It ended up with a tree falling and crushing it. Loved that car and wish I had it to fix up now.

    I wanted to fix it up like this: (with some classier/better looking rims):

    Those things were the scourge of the road for a while.
    Lots of family driveways that had this car and a Mustang II lol..
    Then came the 90's and things evened out.
