Lebron is 2-4 in nba championships.

What more wins are you talking about?

Regardless- when he chokes again, like he always does- his teammates will take the blame. Like they always do.

Nope. Just signed a 5 year deal with 'em for $110 million, giving the Cavs some breathing room once the cap jumps.

Sorry kiddo, you get to enjoy Lord only knows how many more years of bad Lakers basketball.

Out of interest, how does it give breathing room?

They have 2 max players (LeBron and Love) and is Kyrie up for a contract soon isn't he? So he'll be a max as well.

Paying Kyrie was the dumbest thing. That guy is never healthy. Expecting him to make it through an entire season and post-season is crazy.

Uhh, maybe because the Splash Bros were slumping and somehow Delly made people (probably you) believe he was actually a decent player. When someone is able to average 36, 13 and 9, he'll give any sorry azz team a fighting chance.

Which teammates do we blame? The ones that couldn't drop a rock in water or the two perennial all stars that were dressed in suits?

Because of the TV deal, the cap is projected to jump up $30-40 million in 2017. As a result, the amount considered when one speaks of a "max player" will also go up. It was widely expected that Kevin Love would re-sign on a 1 year deal with the ability to opt out and re-up when the new cap hits (which is what LeBron is doing), but instead he took a 5 year deal and left a lot of money on the table.

Kyrie was given a max extension last season, which goes into effect this coming season. Again, once the new cap hits Kyrie nor Kevin Love will be making what will be "max money".

So basically, while we are way over the cap now (or, at least, will be when we re-sign LeBron), in 2017 we will likely have more breathing room.

Cavs will still take a huge hit when it comes to the Luxury Tax.

Glad Bulls secured Jimmy, easily my favorite Bull. He was scheduled to vist LA, NY ect ect and didn't even test the market.

    Love the loyalty.

I understand signing Dunleavy, but we should be getting younger.

Aldridge goes to the Spurs and now the Lakers are in desperation mode. Trading for Roy Hibbert, who got his talent stolen by the MonStars.

    Should have drafted Okafor.
