I don't think this really means anything. Some of us are reading more into this than maybe we should. Two things are going on here. One organization is making it clear, we are going to make you earn your starting position. This organization has given it to Marcus. Maybe that was the right thing to do. Maybe it wasn't. But it doesn't hurt to make the player earn his spot on the field. Perhaps,Whis should be doing the same thing.

In the end, I don't think it matters. I think Winston is flawed talent much in the same Vince Young, Jamarcus Russell and Byron Leftwich were. I don't feel the same about Marcus obviously.
