I think I'd be forced to hate them if they moved to Toronto lol. At that point I'd probably look at Seattle since it's the only team in driving distance from Calgary.

I would stretch the term football country from the mississippi river-east...

ALL states in that zone --- are a football country

    Care to elaborate?

We already have three teams that are in serious danger of leaving their cities; San Diego, Oakland and St. Louis. One of them, if not two of them, will be in LA.

Two divisions of 16 teams just works too well.

The talent is already stretched pretty thinly with 32 teams. It's damn near impossible to find even a decent QB. If you're lucky you end up with a guy like Ryan Tannehill, who is middle of the road, and end up paying him way more money than he deserves because you won't find anyone else better in any short amount of time.

Attendance around the league is down. People aren't going to games because they can watch them all on tv at the same time without dealing with the idiot sitting next to them and his awful commentary.

I think 32 is about as big a sports league can conceivably be in this country without the product being hurt.

If I were a fan of a good team I wouldn't even be opposed to contraction, but since I'm not I would prefer the Titans not just disappear...

between those states there is 20 Superbowl champion's.

    Thats the birthplace of football.

Historical football programs when it comes to College Football.

Really if you look at the history of football, the southeastern states are just now catching up.

Ohio is like 5th in producing the most NFL players, yet having a smaller population.

I think Cali, Texas, Florida are the top 3, in no particular order. Georgia or Louisiana might be 4. Pennsylvania always has top HS football power houses and rank just outside top 5 in producing NFL players.

There would be no game of American Football.

There is talent to go around. QB talent will never fulfill the needs of the league.

I don't think two more franchises will break the league.

If the league is to grow, if the game of football is to grow than expansion is inevitable.

The NFL has expanded 4 times in the last 20 years. Two after relocation.

I don't like to see any team lose their team.

LA gets two teams, Canada still wants in Toronto. The league still likes London.

Where are these teams going to come from?

I don't think Super Bowl championships is going to show you where football is the biggest... Has nothing to do with it.

That is like saying hockey is bigger in Florida than in Canada because Tampa Bay won a Stanley Cup.

The south is where football is life.

Texas to the Carolinas, football is king.

Every CFB Championship since 1998 outside of 2000, 2002, 2004, 2015 came out of the southern states and one of those is Oklahoma and we normally claim them!

High school ball is king too. Professional football is relatively new here considering Tennessee, Carolina and Jacksonville are newer franchises.

New Orleans, Tampa and Atlanta are older.

You have Super Bowl wins in Tampa, New Orleans and Dallas.

Super Bowl appearances in Tennessee, Atlanta and Carolina.
