I'm doubtful any qb/team will right now (Because of fear for more sanctions). But I can easily see a hoard of QBs backing Brady in a few years or even when it comes time for the HOF

Absolutely no way this even gets mentioned when he is getting voted for the Hall. Sure, it is going to tarnish his legacy, because of how dishonest he has been. Outside of some blatant, big time scandals, no way he misses the Hall. I think he is a cheating piece of **** who has indirectly ruined the modern day game, but he has been the best QB on the field, probably ever.

 

Maybe some retired guys can do him a solid, they're safe from Goodell..

 

I think it gets mentioned only by other qbs saying he was in no wrong in their eyes. Because of the widespread use of similar tactics.

I tend to agree. This also brings up character issues with the people who defend cheating by placing the blame on others and then using that as justification to cheat and not feel guilty about it.

 

Its not really what he did, if he would have confessed from the beginning its like a 25k fine.

But he stood up there and denied and denied that he had no knowledge about the balls being purposely deflated. After the report, its more likely that not only did he know, that he also gave away stuff for the actions of deflating the footballs and that it happened all year.

IDC what other QB's do to their footballs, they aren't the ones who got caught and then lied.
