Why do people keep bringing this up. It doesn't matter.

Cheating and lying is only important if it is the difference between winning and losing now?

I can't believe how lax many people are about this. How this was even possible in the first place is beyond me.

People just watched a *likely* cheating team win the super bowl, and if that is just okay with you then you shouldn't be watching the game in the first place.

The Pats had AT LEAST 4 games this season that could have been lost with two touchdowns, or less, by opposing teams. So, it is possible that they could have missed out on the playoffs entirely last year.

You're right cheating is cheating I just find it amusing they had a better second half with compliant balls...

I agree. Cheating is cheating. The outcome of the Colts game likely would have been about the same, but it doesnt take away from the fact they cheated. Plus, the Patriots are the one team, that people constantly talk about skirting the rules. Listening to John McClain on 104.5 today, he said there are coaches that will barely talk to their teams in the visiting locker room in Gillette, because they think is basically bugged. Brady needs a 4 game suspension. This crime in and of itself might only deserve a game, but with all the rumors and allegations against the Pats, they need to drive it home a little more and give him 4 games.

If we're suspending Brady because he "probably" cheated, should we suspend 90% of the players because they "probably" use PEDs? I can't believe I'm the only person who has a serious issue with the amount of conjecture and supposition and lack of any real evidence in this case.

    ???

they have 'confessional' texts. Unless the texters refute the truthfulness of the texts (which could happen I guess) then NFL has all it needs to blame TB for the game having under inflated balls used. TB was clearly orchestrating the whole affair.

I would suspend him for TC and preseason.

    You are not....

That report produced no proof here, and based the finding on the assumption that McNally is lying through his teeth.

If what I heard this morning (potential 6 games) is correct, that is laughable given the slaps on the wrist that players get for other violations. Should there be a fine? Maybe. Six game suspension based on that report? Utter and complete overkill IMO.

I would think that those who have been complaining about Goodell's arbitrary justice for years now would have a problem with this, but I guess arbitrary is ok when it involves the Patriots.

All parties involved had pretty much the same explanations for the text exchanges. It's easy to call BS... But it's hard to prove that it was actually BS. There was no clear cut facts. Just Wells calling BS and inserting his own opinion of what he thought the text meant.

Yes, reading the text made it seem like everyone involved was guilty of wrongdoing. But, the report was far from proving anything. That's my problem with it. I wouldnt want to be punished based on the opinion of someone who is being paid by the people investigating.

Just LOL at everybody claiming the need substantial hard evidence. What evidence is to be found? There is no evidence other then which puts it in a probably case. Hence why he did not say yes they did it, he said more probably then not.

Majority of jobs if they have SOME evidence which makes it likely it is more probable then not, guess what they will punish or let you go. This isn't crime. You don't need to be 100 percent be proven guilty.

And at the people who say they would have won anyways let it be. Then what they keep going? They amputate Gostkowski's leg with a horses, would you still say they wouloda won even with his regular leg opposed to a horses leg?
