Cobb wearing 27? (unofficially retired Titans numbers)

While I don't expect George/CJ type production out of Cobb, I believe he will be much better than any of the other backs that have made carries past decade.

As for the #, eh - doesn't mean that much at this point.

 

I see no issue with him wearing #27. The number isn't retired, so it's free game in my book. I love Eddie, but I doubt he'd have an issue with Cobb wearing #27.

Anybody know what # DGB is wearing?

You guys should check out Wyatt's story/survey with Cobb he tweeted out today. Cobb said his favorite team growing up was the Titans and his favorite player was Eddie George, the reason he wears #27. Cobb tweeted this picture out of himself as little kid, thought it was pretty awesome.

 

That is cool if true. Avery Williamson also claims to be a long-time Titans fan but I have doubts

and I miss seeing a 27 out there, might be weird seeing a short guy with 27 but at least he's the right position

 

That is pretty awesome I think. He grew up as a Titans fan idolizing Eddie George ... and now he has a chance to wear his number and fill his shoes.
