I'm not comparing the Titans to the Seahawks overall as a team. Yes, Seahawks def have them beat. I comparing the offensive line of the Seahawks to that of the Titans. Seahawks offensive line has been considered weak ever since Russell's arrival.

 

at the very least if he flops someone will probably set lp on fire due to wreckless incompetence shown by the organization

Just curious from your POV, give me a run down of what MM does well and doesn't and WHY you believe he won't succeed.

Can all be summed up in 2 games, really. The Michigan State game and the Florida State game.

What he does well:

The obvious: Runs spread option at a collegiate level. That's his thing. He's a quick-footed athlete that plays QB for a team that puts their best athlete at QB. He's surrounded by a lot of shifty fast players that he throws 30 screen passes to per game.

He's good at buying time, throwing on the run, etc.

What he's not good at:

Throwing from a pro-set. His accuracy dips like crazy. He's not good at escaping containment with faster defenses (what he'll see in the NFL every sunday), and not good at making decisions when all his targets are covered. In the FSU game he made two Vince Young'esque passes that were god awful. One was picked, the other was dropped after being lobbed directly into a DB's hands.

He's not good at throwing across his body but tries it far too often. Wont work in the nfl.

He's not good at making multiple reads. Maybe it's because he simply wasn't asked to. At Oregon he'd make one read then tuck and run.
