I don't have a good comeback for that.
If you had said Star Wars action figures, wrestling action figures, or marvel comic toys, it would have guy close to home.

Def going to be some battles at WR for playing time. Shawn Jefferson is a happy man.

McBride probably battles with Jacoby Ford, Rico Richardson, & Clyde Gates for a roster spot. I think we'll carry 6 WRs (DGB, Wright, Hunter, Douglas, Nicks, and McBride).

If he makes the roster, either him or McCluster will be returning kicks/punts. But, I think McBride will eventually be productive on this team. Gets comparisons to Pierre Garcon. Doubt he see's a ton of snaps at WR rookie year, but in 2-3 years, wouldn't surprise me if he's our #2 opposite to DGB w/ Wright in the slot.

If he is a serviceable #5 receiver and can return better than the crap we have, this was a slam dunk.

I know McBride is a 7th round pick, but from everything I've heard and seen, he should be making the team with ease.

Richardson and Gates have zero chance at making the roster. Ford and Nicks are no guarantees either.

Even Bill Polian compared McBride to Pierre Garçon. We can't just cut this guy that quick.

IMO this whole damn draft class better make the team, and we should be focused on getting rid of our proven scrubs. Give these guys a real shot. We have plenty of crap on this team that will be easy to let go.

Exactly. Get rid of the crap that was on this 2-14 squad last year and bring in the young and hungry guys looking to prove themselves. This offseason was about establishing a new culture. I'll be pretty upset if any of these guys are cut but I highly doubt it. I also don't view McBride as a typical 7th round guy, I guess his interviews were really bad for him to fall down that far.

Yup. Everything I've seen said McBride should of been a day 2 pick... but he put off a "diva" vibe for just a "good" player. Regardless, going 7th should put a chip on his shoulder. I wouldn't be shocked in McBridge was our #2 WR by the end of the year. I think Douglas still start the year opposite of DGB w/ Wright in the slot. Hunter will rotate in occasionally. But McBride will sneak in there, watch.
