I'm sure he will be a decent versatile player.

I was just really hoping we got a good RB.

I don't have hope in Sankey, McCluster is pretty much just a punt returner and a receiving back. Would like someone who can actually run the ball.

He's got hands and can either block or motion to the line. He's built like a small tight end.

Alabama FB/HB Jalston Folwer reminds me of Atlanta Falcons’ underrated ‘tweener Jason Snelling, only Fowler is a better ball carrier.

A good example is what I heard from announcer Brent Musberger’s during Alabama’s 2012 opener against Michigan when he described Crimson Tide fullback/halfback (and H-back) ‘tweener Jalston Fowler “hammering away” at the Wolverine front. I thought I saw the same thing from the 250-lb. Fowler. However, when I studied his performance last month, what I saw on repeat views was a big man making defenders miss.

If what you see below didn’t fool you upon first viewing, good for you. You have truthful eyes today. Congratulations, you’re a football analysis god. Now go away.

This team is second to none in over drafting no name players. And some of us wonder why our roster is so bad that we can't compete. :anon:

I think this pick could easily save us some decent money by giving us a bruiser to take Shonn Greene's place. Greene is getting 4.1 mil this year which is crazy money for him. Cutting him post june 1st saves us 3.5mil. Greene will make it to training camp but will be a late cut once this kid shows what he can do.

They will be looking to use this guy as a hb and a fb both. I where people say we could have gotten him later, but you don't really know. If they think this guy is the next mike alstott, then we got a nice pick here. Me personally, it's day 3 so these picks won't make or break our team. These late rounds are where you take flyers and gamble a little.
