Best player available is DGB...kid has top 10 physical talent...certainly made some bad decisions when he got to Mizzou, but he does have a good support system at home with his adoptive family. I think he has matured. I'm glad we brought him in for a visit. He is perfect for a young QB...big strong fast guy who has great hands...great red zone threat.

Tre Mcbride is another WR I like along with Vince Mayle...draft is deep at that spot....so from a draft depth standpoint might be good to go with one of the pass rushers not named Gregory

Does it hurt DGB for him not playing for an entire year? I know dude is sick. I'm curious how far he will fall in the 2nd or possibly the 3rd. I'm stuck between him and Devin Smith for #33. I'm trying to reach a friend of mine who is a die hard Ohio St. fan and get his point of view on Smith.

There are so many really good prospects left that I would favor trading back and trying to get multiple 2nds if possible.

If not, anyone of Gregory, Collins(x3), DGB, Strong, Fischer, etc I would be happy with.

No one has an extra second this year, and the only team with multiple 3rds is the Saints I believe.

Buckeye fan here, I do not think Smith is a good fit as he is a bit of a 1 trick pony(although he is great at that trick). Goes deep very very well, but doesn't run great routes on shorter or intermediate routes. Burner isn't afraid to be physical and also excelled in punt coverage as a gunner for a couple years so that adds some value as well. Don't think he is the go-to type guy we would need though. Zac Stacy wants out of St.Louis. Former Vanderbilt player. Trade Mettenburger for him.

If this team wants to really change it's longstanding culture of mediocrity at WR they need to draft a good one at 33. Someone with sticky fingers.. Give the new QB a fighting chance..

Lol at people calling Devin Smith a one trick pony. So is DeSean Jackson. And TY Hilton. And Torrey Smith. And Mike Wallace. I'd take all of those guys over anything we have right now.

And I don't think Smith is a one trick pony at all. I'll make the same argument everyone makes with Mariota; just because he wasn't asked to do something doesn't mean he can't do it. He is absolutely a good enough athlete to run the route tree.

I worry about Smith breaking the jam if anything. Guys respected his speed so much in college that he rarely got jammed.

What....as a Will Call worker? Has he sent his resume to StubHub or something?

But, gotta love this....you made the call last year, good to see you here owning it LOL. H5 for that.

Mariota tweaks a hammy and Whitehurst is starting again. Mett remains an important part of this offense.
