With pick #2 of the 2015 NFL Draft, the Tennessee Titans select: Marcus Mariota, QB, Oregon

Like I said before, it would take a massive blunder or getting fleeced on a trade for me to hate whatever the Titans did.

I was hoping for Leonard Williams or even Amari Cooper if they believed in Mett to be the guy.

The more I think about it, the more I like the pick.

Literally as soon as the commish hit the podium blue leis started appearing everywhere. Cheerleaders had boxes of them, ushers and cheerleaders were raining those things.

TRac came out with a Hawaiian shirt on.

They were giving away stitched #8 Mariota jerseys to fans at LP.

They had a photo booth set up after the pick with his jersey and you could hold it up and get your picture made with it.

The pro shop had Mariota jerseys but not many. People were already ordering them.


They made this pick two months ago.

Those trade rumors were fake as ****. I don't care what Rapport says. Never happened.

just think were we could be at....derrick Carr qb or mett....if true traded with Philly got Cox, kendricks....then got Melvin Gordon at rb....then darious green becham....then all together had defense needs qb and wr....wish I could run this team.sadly we got Webster....

Two 1st round picks, 3rd, and 4th round pick, Fletcher Cox, Mychal Kendricks, and Brandon Boykin? Are you serious?!?!?

I'm aware those players are in the last year of their contracts, but Cox would have a 5th year option that we'd pick up for sure.

I'm trying to warm up to Mariota. Really am. I knew in my mind it was coming for a long time now, so that helped me not scream at the TV. But I just have a horrible feeling about him.

 

Don't remember the last time I was this ecstatic about a first round pick we made. Not sure I ever have been!

ya man....this is by far my all time least enthused ive ever been about the titans...and i dont see that changing at all anytime in the coming years. only hope is mett blows the doors off in t.c. takes the starting job and never looks back

You don't even know if that trade was true or not. So you wanted to trade a potential franchise QB for Fletcher Cox on an expiring deal who does the same thing as Casey, a solid ILB, draft a RB in the 1st round, and take a guy who probably won't stay in the league because he'll be kicked out in DGB? I'm glad you're not running the team.
