    just listened to an interview with allbright..

    he says...mariota not in our top 5 prospects...well i should say this was all stuff he was told 2 weeks ago.

    mariotas not in our top 5. our top 3 was winston williams kevin white

    the reason they are over the top is because they are trying to drum up trade interest....get this, cuz there really isnt that much of a market for mariota. says as far as he was told 2 weeks ago theyll take williams and "call it a day"

    he said cleveland about a month ago said theyd do 12 and 19 titans said no cleveland isnt even in the discussion anymore, might trade up to get danny shelton.

    eagles are happy with bradford.

    not really much of a market for mariota...not even in the top 20 for many teams...

    all of this is as accurate as anything people here dream up. I seriously do not believe there is a single media person at this point that truly has an real inside info or has been told, by their "sources" of course, anything but fodder to feed the fires.

    All these media guys are doing is trying to up their twitter following and stay relevant. All BS.

    This is exactly on point. My son has a buddy who works for the Titans and I can tell you they are zipped up tight. Everything coming from a "reporter" is just pure speculation. No outsider knows squat about their board, and many insiders do not either.

    I dno...peoe get info others can't all the time...dudes scooped a lot of stories and seems to really believe what he says. Tweeted today that mariota could fall into the teens.

    Yup...Jeff Darlington tweeted the titans are calling looking for trade partners...meaning they'll take Williams or Kevin white.

    If its true that the Titans are instigating trade talks, that almost guarantees that we wont take Mariota. Very well could be false. But, if its true, no way they take him if they stay at 2. They are right in saying a franchise qb superseded everything. If they feel that way about Mariota, why try and trade? If we stay the pick will be Williams or Cooper.
