I don't agree with that at all. There is plenty of value in the middle and late first rd. And at 33 where we pick. Wrs, defensive tackles. A guy like Landon Collins could be had with the 19th pick.

If that trade was made sans Bradford we are close to set on defense. A guy like Collins and then a NT like Goldman would be nice.

The 19th pick would be great for a RT. 3-4 quality guys will be there.

Youd be lucky to swap Levitre for hemorrhoids.

Of course teams who want to trade up for Mariota are going to act like they don't want him. We all know that the egotistical Chip Kelly would do love to re-unite with Mariota and try to show everyone exactly what his offense can do. Bradford allows him to throw the ball around, but gives nothing with his legs.

Bradford can say he isn't going to sign a new deal. Well if I was Bradfords new team I wouldn't want to sign him to a new deal until after he shows me that he can stay healthy and be productive. Once he produces then you work out a deal after the season and if he won't do that then you franchise tag him.

I still think that both the Eagles and Browns will make a real effort to trade up for Mariota.

Browns are probably the only real option. The best option anyway

This is getting ridiculous. Now teams are going to trade half their team and draft picks for the #2 spot? So many silly trade rumors right now. And all for a QB that no one knows for sure that he can run a pro style offense. Just crazy.

Um...some of you are forgetting one thing. If there are multiple teams wanting to move up for Mariota, we will get MORE value, not less. If we had competing offers from Jets, Rams, Browns and Eagles....how would we get LESS value?

If Im the Titans, any trade for Mariota will cost you 3 first rnd picks and a few players...as in Cox (on a new extension), Mathis (Ill give them Levitre back), and Jordan Matthews at WR. And the picks are not gonna be #19, #20, and next years #1 in 2016. Get me #12 from the Browns for Bradford, #20 and next years #1 or get me the Browns 2nd rnd pick this year!

Mariota is Andrew Luck value to Chip Kelly. Would you give up Luck for less?

This kind of deal is WIN WIN for both teams (and Browns too if Bradford pans out for them). But this kind of deal would require us to aquire Mariota at #2 and for agents and teams to negotiate extensions in advance because IF we were getting the #12 pick as part of the deal, the deal would have to be done by then for the deal to happen so we could pick there. Bradford would probably be the sticking point for a #12 pick if he won't restructure or sign a contract extension.

Don't see a way for Chip to get his hands on Mariota unless he takes the players we want and works a deal out later after the draft or on day 2-3.

Browns deal is much more doable and potentially more lucrative. We could take picks #12, #19, #43, and their 4th rnd pick. or 12, 19, 4th this year and their 1st in 2016.

I think the Jets are 50/50 on moving up and not sure if it's to #1 or #2 or just in case Titans don't take Mariota and Jets trade to #3 or #4. Jets trade would also be great because still get one of the best players in draft (pass rusher or WR or LW) or could trade back again and really load up on picks to reload the roster!

The Eagles are trying to cool off their interest (which no one is buying) to try and not get into a trade battle with a 1-3 other teams.

The Titans are going to have to play this cool, which I'm scared they'll mishandle. We don't truly know what's going on, every exec could know which teams are making an offer or no one knows if there are offers on the table or not. The Titans have to play it close to the chest and the Browns and Eagles with the most arms for a trade battle have to be cautious. Then you have teams like the Jets and Chargers who have to be quiet and wait for a potential opportunity.

The interesting thing with the Jets is, they are I think the 3rd team to show Mariota the most interest (besides Bucs and Titans) and they are trying to play it cool saying they wouldn't even take him if he feel to #6?

Yep. Can't blame them. They don't want to throw Smith under the bus and potentially not land Mariota. Chargers have Rivers to dangle, Cleveland has 2 1st round picks and the Eagles could be perceived as trying to get him at all costs.

I mean, does anyone actually buy the Jets actually being okay with Geno Smith? I think I'll take Mett over him at this point. The Jets have to be quiet, so do the Bears if they have any actual interest. At this point, they may just eat Cutler's deal until it's over.

Unless they heard the asking price and balked, there is no way the Jets show the 3rd most interest (most outside the top 2 in the draft) and 3 days before the draft say they would pass on him. Nope not buying it at all.
