Titans Sign Hakeem Nicks

Its a one year deal. Probably worth between 1 and 1.5 million. He sounds like has a big chip on his shoulder. Maybe he can come in and do something or at least push Hunter.

 

He's been productive in the past. More than you can say for some of the depth guys the Titans have carried in the past. Maybe he's healthy enough to contribute in a limited role if nothing else. At least the FO is still working and trying to bring in some guys.

 

ehh I guess I'm in the minority who doesn't think this is a decent move - depth or not.

That's 2 back to back below average signings now with Bell and Nicks.

Nicks did what last year with Andrew LUCK in a prove it year - so if he losses his job to a unknown WR in Indy how will he fare any different with Mett?

If Douglas wasn't signed maybe this would make a little more sense - but naw I say back to back weak signings now.

Just get this draft here faster so they can stop signing below average talent and change this franchise around with a top 2 pick.

 

Why not trade for Josh Gordon or Justin Blackmon instead if we are going to take a guy destined to be suspended most of the time

 

Not all your signings are going to be starters/studs. I think Webster is setting us up to take BPA and not overdrafting for need. We addressed majority holes thus far in free agency.

 

Cool, like this move, big body reciever like we need. Still want DGBat 33, put this is a good move.

 

It's late April though. Not as if there's a bunch of amazing talent left out there. And we have to fill out the roster.

 

This scares me that we won't get a WR in the draft this year. Kinda sucks as Mett needs weapons.

 

I sure hope they don't take Mariota. Should take Williams.

 

We're not gonna pass on drafting a WR based on signing old washed up Hakeem Nicks. Even Ruston Webster ain't that dumb.
