Dominating DLinemen come out of every draft, no upcoming draft features a Philip Rivers. Maybe Winston matches Rivers in success, but why are you guys all ignoring the fact we'd keep Mett to groom for the future...?

Manning played with a torn right quad the last like 4 weeks of the season and the playoffs. His arm was much weaker than normal because he couldn't properly plant and throw. He played in Denver in the wind for the last 2.5 years prior to the injury with no issues.

There are many reasons why we should be cautious of trading for Rivers. Arm strength is the least of them however.

Because Mett's contract will be up before Rivers will be done in the league. If Mett thinks he can go somewhere else and play immediately, why would he sign back with the Titans just to sit for 2 more years?

    Browns front runners for Mariota??

Titans asked for both Cleveland's 1st round picks for the 2nd overall but Cleveland turned them down?

NFL | Report: Browns 'front runners' to land Mariota - Rotoworld.com

TFY Draft Insider Tony Pauline reports the Browns are the "front runners" to trade up and acquire Oregon QB Marcus Mariota.

This, of course, assumes the Bucs select Jameis Winston at No. 1 overall. According to Pauline -- the info king of the pre-draft process -- the Titans asked for the Browns' Nos. 12 and 19 selections, as well as Cleveland's second-round pick in order to move up to No. 2 overall. The Browns turned them down. That's not an out-of-hand asking price from the Titans.

they said no now. once were on the clock that no turns into a yes. then tb takes winston cleveland takes mariota. we take a wr at 12 and rt or bdpa at 19, whichever one is clearly better than what they can get at 33. take the other position at 33. go d the rest of the way with the exception of a midround guard/center. then mett gets to start the season 2-0 beating winston and mariota back to back before a 4 game homestand. holy **** its gonna happen guys!!!!

    So your telling me :

    Titans get : 12, 19 and 33?!

That would certainly plug a lot of needed holes

I'm all in on Leanord Williams but even this would be hard to pass up
