This article on ESPN today says:

"Mariota has the highest QBASE projection since 2012. Since 1995, only six quarterbacks -- Philip Rivers, Carson Palmer, Donovan McNabb, Russell Wilson, Robert Griffin III and Peyton Manning -- had better projections....Questions about Mariota's ability to adapt to a more standard NFL offense do lend a note of caution to his projection. At the same time, the model also ignores Mariota's potential off-field strengths. And the two other quarterbacks with top-10 projections who got the most questions about their college production translating to the NFL -- Wilson and Aaron Rodgers -- both turned out well..."

As the draft draws nearer I'm really starting to get the feeling Tampa takes Mariota 1st overall........ and then we will proceed to do something totally out of left field at #2 (i.e. not Winston, Williams or trade back).

If we had a QB and it was a LT then ok, but we have a LT, and you sure as **** dont take a RT at 2.

Only other option I could see is Cooper, which I would be okay with.

I rather have Mariota than Winston, so I hope Tampa still takes him so we can either get our QB or trade for a king's ransom.

Drafting Williams would not be out of left field....best defender easliy in the draft.

The more I see of Mariota, the more I think that not only does he adapt to the NFL style of play, I think his playing style reminds me a lot of Aaron Rodgers, except he's a faster runner.

From all I've seen out of the Titans recently, I think they're sticking with Mett. I hate to say it, but I think that's what they do. They will also not take a defender at #2. It's been offense 6 out of the last 7 years and Whis is an offensive guy. I think he is in love with Cooper and how precise his routes are, something his system requires.

That's just my 2 cents anyway.

I said NOT Winston, Williams or trade. I have a feeling they're gonna pull a classic Titans move and take somebody no one is really talking about for us.

I could see Cooper being a Titan, seems very Whiz friendly
