I'm sure they don't want to give up on him, but Manziel really has put them in a hard place with his lack of professionalism. The Browns are the team in the best position to trade up because of the extra 1st rnd pick. They also have a QB coach who has worked with Mariota. So they certainly could make it happen.

Trade rape is what the Rams did to the Skins....3 1st rnd picks and a 2nd rnder to move up from #6 to #2....this move is from #12 to #2...so I think the value is right.

Of course all the picks in the world are useless when we have Webster using them on the wrong guys. That's why I'd rather net a proven guy like Rivers as part of the deal. Take as much of it out of Webster's hands as possible.

Yea... That's a good one, but one less 1st round pick involved. And I'm not a huge fan of Foles outside of the Eagles offense. Might as well stick with Mett rather than trade for Foles.

As for that Eagles trade... They don't even have pick #19 right now. That scenario is assuming they will acquire #19 from the Browns for Bradford.

Yeah I get that. Maybe they'd do it. I'm just looking at it like this.... Manziel barely even played last year and he's coming out of rehab. Having just spent a 1st round pick on him, I think they will want to give him one more chance. If they were gonna completely move on from him I think they'd have done it already.

And besides, Mariota is far from a sure thing. Giving up 3 1sts to get him is borderline insanity to me. But again, we are talking about the Browns so who knows.

From what is being said, the Eagles are having to make trades with teams in front of them to get more ammo to trade up to 2. It will most likely be their entire draft + Sam Bradford.

This is pretty tough. I originally went Browns because it's extremely hard to turn down having 5 1st round picks over the next 2 drafts but...

Rivers makes us a contender and #17 could go to a guy like DGB.

Jets could give us an elite weapon like Cooper and additional picks to make building around Mett worth it.

Eagles gives us the same number of 1sts like the Browns but I like 12 and 19 a lot more than 19 and 20. Plus Browns will be worse than the Eagles next year.

Okay so yeah I'm still going Browns even if it is slightly unrealistic. Second choice is Chargers.

Yea it's hard to turn down 2 1st rounders and 2016 1st rounder when the browns will be bad again. This will give Mett a chance with talent we offer him. If Mett doesn't turn out, we have a good chance getting whichever QB we want next year with the additional 1st rounder.

I like the Jets for the simply fact that we still get a high caliber player at 6. Most people don't see a huge difference between 17 and 50 in this draft, so I think that 6 and 37 are better than 12 and 19. 6 is better than 12 by a lot, and I am not sure there is that much difference talent wise between 19 and 37. We need an impact player, and we can get one at 6. Just my thoughts.

Like a lot of people have pointed out; the X Factor is trading to team that we know will be bad this season, making the pick even sweeter next year.

I'd take the Cleveland deal, 3 1sts are hard to turn down.

The Chicago deal would also be stomachable. We upgrade our QB spot, still get a top 10 pick, 1st and 3rd next year would be nice sweeteners.
