I like this guy a lot more than Barksdale. Sign Wisniewski and let Schwenke battle Levitre at G. Draft a RT in the third.

I think we might wait until after the draft. These two have been on the market for a while, I expect it to stay that way. After the draft we can reevaluate if we want to pay Wis or Barksdale.

I'd prefer just to sign Wis now and then find a RT in the draft.

In complete agreeance with you guys.

I am fine with drafting a RT at some point, maybe at 33 but we will have guys that can start at the top of the third.

Wis would be a great signing and we have the money. Do it

Not sure if Barksdale is much better than Stingily

What does it hurt to bring both in? Gives depth, flexibility in the draft, etc. Don't sign them to some ridiculous contract. Give them contracts that pay well, but don't hamstring us if they don't work out. As long as signing them doesn't put us in cap trouble in the future (and it shouldn't) I see signing both Wis and Barksdale as a no lose situation.

You could say that about every free agent. If teams could have signed these two for "not too much, easy to cut" contracts they both would be signed already

This isn't true. We have a lot of cap space so we have more freedom to give one of these guys a mill more a year than most teams. So pony up a bit more, guarantee a a little, and get them signed. We could go 3 years 14 mill with 4-5 mill guaranteed--or something like that. I would think that would be competitive and it wouldn't put us at risk for the future.

Yea, except this guy should only cost half as much.

Hope we make it happen, but if it was gonna happen, I feel like we would've already signed him.
