    He was also injured the last like 2 games, if memory serves, and the LSU offense is built around a strong running game, not throwing the ball a ton. In fact, he's the only LSU qb to pass for 2,500 yarsds in consecutive seasons.

    I'm not saying Mett is the answer at QB. But using college numbers alone to judge Mett is beyond silly.

    Thats silly. Many experts had Mett as a top 5 qb last draft based on talent and projection. He was projected as an early to mid rounder by many people before his failed drug test. That is why he fell so far in the draft.

    Your #s are a little unfair (but also not bad #S for college). LSU is typically a run first, power football type offense. His last year, they had Jeremy Hill who ran for 1400 yards, Alfred Blue ran for over 600, and 2 other guys ran for over 300 a piece, and Beckham and Landry were still over 1100 yards receiving. He has the physical tools to play in the NFL, it is just a matter of his reads, which we will wait and see how that progresses. I am not totally against Mariotta, but I would rather go Williams or possibly Fowler, and maybe take a QB in the 3rd or 4th, just to see what Mett has, but still maybe throw a young guy in the QB mix with some potential.

    Only numbers you need to know are the low amount of games the titans will win if mariota is at the helm, and our defense especially against the run still sucks

    The guy was the 3rd leading PASSER in the nation, and had the HIGHEST PASSER EFFICIENCY RATING IN THE NATION. What part of that is so difficult to digest? It ain't hard to see that the guy is damn good. He didn't win that Heisman in the Lottery. Nor did he win it with his feet. He was the best overall passer in the nation last year. Is that so damn hard to understand? All the boneheads come out of the woodwork bashing the guy, when he EARNED the accolades.

    Yeah...you know this because he really sucked as a passer last year...right? You don't know your arse from a hole in the ground.

    The guy was the 3rd LEADING PASSER IN THE COUNTRY and had the highest QBR, genius. You Mariota haters keep making yourself look more and more stupid with every cynical post you make. All it takes is a little google search effort to find out why the guy won the Heisman in the first place.
