Wow. What a cynical view of everyone. Did you wake up and roll off into the floor this morning, sunshine?

Petty throws the deep ball better than of the QB's in this draft, IMHO. And he's got a really smooth stroke +quick release. And where we would draft him (3-4th Rd), I am certain they would make him the backup, and try to develop him behind Mettenberger. But, it wouldn't be mid-season before Mett gets injured again, seeing he is virtually a statue in the pocket. If he injures his should again, I think Mett is toast. Those injuries have a way of diminishing a QB's throwing ability and arm strength, even after they return to the field.

So, even if they drafted Hundley or Petty, in the 2-4th rd...they won't sit for long before they get their shot.

I'm starting to warm up to that idea, but I'm afraid Webster would be stupid enough to let Gurley or Gordon pass, if SD did trade Rivers and their No. 17 overall pick. They'd take yet another OL, for the 3rd year in a row.

If we got such a trade, I'd definitely take Gurley, if he is there (or Gordon, if he is not). When he gets healthy, he is going to be a terror in this league, and that is what this team desperately needs. Some offensive firepower and identity.

Give the QB a true No.1 WR, in DGB (6'5" 4.4/40 Dorial Green Beckham), and then take the best OT still on the board at the top of the 3rd (Jake Fisher will probably be there). We can go all defense after that.

But if you gave Phillip Rivers DGB, to go along with Wright, Hunter, and Delanie Walker + Todd Gurley...that would be an offense that's tough to stop.

It would be pointless then. ..Hundley and petty have the physical tools to be good, but you pUT them in wiz's pass happy offense as rookies and they both fail. Both these guys will need a couple of seasons to develop. I mean pettys own trainer compared his football iq to cam newton. cam newton is the dumbest qb in the nfl. Hundley was sacked like 10 times a game In college(Not literally but alot). If you can't make progressions and read defenses in college, you will need alot of time to learn how to do it in the pros.

At this point I will only be truly optimistic about the next couple seasons if we land winston, Mariota or rivers.

If Chip Kelly were able to trade Foles and a 2nd in 2016 and potentially get a pick back in 2016....and THEN trade that player for TWO 1st round picks this year, it would be the biggest draft story period!!!

Then Chip Kelly trades us 3 first round picks this year and gets Mariota for what?

He'd have traded his first pick this year (pick 20) and a 2nd rnd pick in 2016 for Mariota.

Cleveland would be the dumbest franchise to spend 2 first rnd picks on an oft injured QB with a huge cap number and only 1 yr left on his contract? I can't see Farmer doing this. At least if they traded for Mariota, they have him for years.

    Let's see, give us picks #12 (Round 1), #19 (Round 1), #43 (Round 2), #111 (Round 4) and we give you picks #2 (Round 1) and #207 (Round 6).

This would really help us rebuild our team but mean we are going all in on Mett as QB!!!

No way Cleveland gives up 12 and 19 to pay Bradford how ever many millions he makes to play a few games then. Break his face off.

I mean...no one is that dumb right

If we were to swing a trade with Cleveland that involved their two first, a second, and Jonny Manziel does anyone think that we could then flip Manziel to Philadelphia for their forth rounder plus Sam Bradford/Mark Sanchez?

If Kelly loses the Mariota bidding then maybe he'd be interested with Manziel as a constellation prize.

Why would Chip give up Bradford and a pick for Manziel?

IF we trade with Cleveland, just take their 2 first rnd picks, second round pick and fourth rnd pick and give them our first rnd pick and NE's sixth rnd pick and call it a day.

Only way I see Bradford moving is if he goes to Cleveland for their #19 and then Kelly trades with us giving up #19 and #20 (in round 1), #52 (in round 2), and a 1st in 2016. I'd rather deal with Cleveland...get the huge haul in picks and let them deal with Kelly for Mariota.

I could very well see a 3 team trade happen where Titans end up with picks, Cleveland ends up with Bradford and Eagles get Mariota. We just need to be on the 'winning' end of any deal as we hold all the power.
