A third for moving up just six positions works for me if the Titans can drop a few spots and still get their guy. Just because a player on Kiper's board slides down into the second-round doesn't mean he's a first-round player on the Titans' board.

Maybe so, but I don't buy everything Kiper and the other pundits have to say, anyway. But if there is a consensus that a certain player is a mid-first round player, then why not take advantage of the early position? It's effectively a late 1st Rd pick anyway. As I mentioned, there are going to be some real gems at WR and maybe RB, there. Possibly an OT or two that we never thought would get out of the 1st

I would tend to agree with you most years. But this years draft is very weak and from what I've read/heard, most GM's only have 19-20 players on their boards with a 1st round grade. Most of them will be gone by #33. That is a valuable pick however but I doubt a bona fide 1st rounder is still there if we stay at #33 and pick.

I initially thought that Gurley would be available at #33, was praying for that --- but as we get to closer to the draft, I'm starting to realize it's just a dream. I'll be surprised if Gurleys available in the 20s. Hyde wasn't half the prospect that Gurley & Gordon are.

I actually didn't like Hyde last year. I liked Hill much better to be honest. Both Gurley and Gordon will be long gone....RB is still a valued position and important. despite what everyone says.

Agreed. But, there's also alot of RBs I love in the 4th. Would rather wait until then, unless Gordon or Gurley are available at #33. I consider RT & WR much bigger needs than RB.

No doubt bro...There is no question that we need a #1 and a RT badly. I like Cobb and a few guys in the 4th or 5th as well. Long shot Gurley or Gordon there at 33....man, if they are, you almost have to roll with one of them.

Depends how bad Kelly wants Mariota I guess.

Cleveland offered both Rams and Philly a 1st for Bradford so it could happen :)
