OT would at #2 would be a sick jk

Wouldn't be crazy about any WR either

I like Fowler and Beasley as players but neither is worthy of #2 and this pass rush class is deep. Rather trade down than grab one of the OLB at 2. You could still get Shane Ray top 15.

I hope we go Leonard Williams or QB. Or trade down but it better be for a CRAP LOAD of picks.

Mariota is not a top 10 prospect to me. I don't see him as a better prospect than Bridgewater or Carr last year and he is better than Manziel only because he is not such a knucklehead.

As for Winston he definitely is a top prospect but you have to get past the character issues. I was a supporter of Cam Newton in 2011 and he has woked out fine so that probably helps Winston.

We should go after Mike Glennon of we think the bucs are taking Winston #1.

Any pick at all at #2 would make me lose even more faith in this front office.

There is not a single player in this years draft worth the value of a #2 pick. Trade it to the Browns for 3 picks and get 3 good to really good players instead of 1 good to really good player.
    It is a no-brainer.

Dupree is who we need and we can get him between 15-20.

Well OL is the obvious answer so I decided to change it up and go White. The WR position is the only other position outside of Mariota or Williams that I could see us taking. Therefore, if we reach and take a WR at #2 and don't select Amari Cooper then I'll have a meltdown.

    Mariota.

If we don't end up with Winston, Williams, Fowler or Shelton it will be all the proof we need that this team is run by idiots.

Well SOMEONE has to be picked at #2, whether we make the pick or not. And if the top of the class is as weak as you say it is why in the hell would another team trade multiple picks to move up?

Probably Mariota, although Cooper is not too far behind.

I would just hate drafting Mariota based on a projection, at #2 that is far too risky a proposition.

Mariota could become the best quarterback to ever play the game (highly, highly, doubtful) but at the end of the day nobody knows what he'll turn out to be. It just too hard to project what kind of pro he will be due to that spread, gimmicky offense he ran at Oregon.

I voted Cooper but now I want to change it to Mariota.

I agree the top of the draft is weak this year. QB needy team would trade up- especially if they are believers in Mariota. I'm in the camp that the only good move is to trade that pick to no lower than 20 for trades with the landing spot as follows:

5-10: trade value equivalent on standard chart
11-15: 20% or more above trade value equivalent
16-20 30% or more above trade value equivalent

Not interested in players to be traded for value unless they are under 28, and starters without a serious injury history.

I can live with OL (RT) in the first if we trade out of the top 10. RT is easily the biggest need the team has right now and FA OL are going for ridiculous money right now.
