Don't get greedy thinking we're going to get 2 1st Rd picks this year + others and then a 1st Rd pick next year. Remember, just because a few teams make bone-headed offers (redskins to rams), it does NOT mean that is the new standard. If the Titans fall into that trap, there will be no trade. That's why so few of those blockbuster trades ever occur.

If they did move Bradford for Cleveland's #19, and throw their #20 in with it, I wouldn't expect much more than a 2nd an maybe a 3rd Rd next year. If we did make such a trade, I'd take Gordon or Gurley with one of those. Then either a RT (Peat, Flowers or La'El Collins). Then I'd draft WR Dorial Green Beckham with our No.33 overall. If we got a 2nd Rd pick from them, take Hundley with it. If he's gone, take either a corner like Darby or OLB/Pass Rusher like Kikaha (2014 NCAA sack leader). Then with our 3rd, take QB Bryce Petty.

Yea but some of them you can hear the truth though all the coach speak, with Whiz its always coach speak and no real talk. He's not a peoples coach, which is cool, best coaches aren't always that way, but when we suck I dont want some generic babble to cover it up, I want his honest opinion and how he'll fix it. .

As far as the season was concerned, Whisenhunt pulled the plug WAAAAY too early on Locker. Should have let him start the moment he returned from his thumb injury (only 2 games). Why? Because Locker was on fire in the Cleveland, until he hit his thumb on the player's helmet. I just think Whisnehunt was ready to throw the towel in on the season just to see what he had in Mettenberger, and never expected the team to suck that bad that long. He blew it, but at least he got a good sample size to see that Mettenberger is Mike Glennon/John Skelton 2.0...nothing but a backup.

I could see the Eagles trading Bradford and #20 for #12 and #19 then flip #12 and #19 plus their 3rd and 1st next year for #2. I would do that in a heart beat

    #12- Parker WR
    #19- Dupree/Beasley/Gregory (Someone will fall)
    #33- TJ Clemmings- OT
    #66- Bryce Betty- QB
    #84- Mike Davis RB

I'd take that in a heartbeat. I actually had a draft from one of the mock draft simulators the other day and went #12 Parker and #19 Beasley after trading with Cleveland. TJ Clemmings would be perfect at #33. The only thing I'd change is I prefer Cobb, the RB from Minnesota to Davis.

I don't see us using a 1st Rd pick on an OLB, once we were able to sign Orakpo (and Morgan + Massaqua). We are two deep at OLB now, and that's about all I see us doing now. At RB, all we have are smallish scatbacks. No real bell cow. That's why, under that sort of trade, we'd be stupid not to take either Gordon or Todd Gurley. Both of those guys have the size/speed/talent to fundamentally transform the entire offense...especially Gurley. If he hadn't been injured this past year, he would have been a top 5 pick hands down.

I saw that guy manhandle a good UT Vol defense this year. 218 rushing yards alone. He's Bo Jackson good. He has a way of making defenders miss even when they take a good angle. Once in a decade type runner.

Gurley is a freaking monster. My dream scenario is to trade back from #2 and grab him and cooper in the first.

Well, we are not two deep at olb. We have Wimbley who will most likely be cut and Massaquio is has been cut twice. He is promising I agree, but not good depth. Webster said the most important thing for us here is numbers. We don't have that. An injury prone olb, a DE who is decent at olb, and a veteran that was cut. We need another top 3 rd pick there. Also, Whiz and the team is way higher on Sankey than anyone here and sorry to burst y'alls bubble, seriously doubt we go RB in the top 3 rounds. Whiz says he expects Sankey to be our bell cow next year in an interview last week. So olb will be a bigger priority to the team than RB will be.

Yep. Aside from Mariota, I honestly think Cooper and Gurley are the two players that will have the biggest impact on a team, within their first 2 seasons (may take some adjustment in the first year). Each player, single-handedly gave my Vols absolute fits this past year. And they did the same for two seasons, so that tells me they are both the Real-Frickin-Deal

I think we were going to HAVE to take an OLB early if we couldn't bring Morgan back and missed on Orakpo. With that said, I do think if OLB Kikaha is sitting there when we pick at the top of the 3rd, we'll take him. Leading pass-rusher in all of college football last year, with 19.5 sacks.

2015 Draft Prospect Profile: DE Hau'oli Kikaha

The reason he is expected to fall that far is because he's had 2 ACL injuries and is deemed by many NFL pundits as a pass rush specialist only...not a true 3 down OLB. The Titans got a good look at him at the Senior Bowl, so we'll see.

But if we have 2 picks in the 1st, as a result of a trade, I think Gurley and Gordon are such impact RB's, you can't pass on them. If we don't take them, I'm not sold on any RB after that....maybe Tevin Coleman, but not until the 3rd or 4th.
