He tried saving money by not paying his mortgage. Thus, the pending foreclosure.

You don't stop paying while applying to refinance.

Wait so Eddie only has $200k and he wants to be an owner?

Lol... Eddie, I love you, but you're as delusional as Jason LaCanfora on that one.

There is no way I believe Eddie only has a net worth of 200k.

Damn, I sure hope not cause that would be piss pour money management.

I find it very unlikely he is only worth 200k... unless he spent his money in some insanely crazy ways and has saved/invested none.

Ex-Buckeye Eddie George, others become entrepreneurs after the NFL | The Columbus Dispatch

Plus I know he owns a restaurant in Columbus, although it's small and nothing special, it is there and has been for quite a long time. [unrelated] I actually went last month and was pretty disappointed. Food was fine but I expected a bunch of game memorabilia and things of that nature but there was almost none. Just a bunch of autographs from famous OSU athletes all over the walls. Pretty much a basic bar, but I bet it's fun on OSU gamedays since it's right down the road.

I'm sure he got paid for his role as OSU's "President for Business Advancement".

Playing for Keeps: Eddie George · Experience Life

Being a regular on the Dr. Oz show back then probably made a few bucks. Plus we all know he commentates from time to time, and at one point he released his own workout DVD. Not sure how well the DVD did honestly but those things are pretty cheap to create, the cost is all in the marketing.

There is no way he's not worth more than $200k, he's nowhere near Peyton I'm sure but he could throw down a few dollars. He is definitely not going to be anywhere near a majority owner but who really cares.

Do we want Eddie, a legendary RB from our franchises history to be the face of the front office, or Peyton Forehead, who was a thorn in our side for a decade playing for our most hated rival. I think the decision is easy personally.....

Dan Marino had a brick oven pizza joint I used to go to, place only lasted 2 years. The players often times are just an investor and don't do anything in the day to day operations. Idk about Eddies place but what are the chances it's just his likeness being used and not actually his restaurant?

    Doesn't VY have a restaurant?

That's says all you need about players and entrepreneurial practises.

Restaurants and car washes are like a big piece of cheese in a giant mousetrap for retired athletes, they just can't help themselves.

Architect with an MBA and over 10,000 rushing yards in the NFL, not to mention a Heisman Trophy winner....yeah, I am guessing he is worth more than $200k.

As mentioned before, I would absolutely love for him to take a leadership role for the organization. Face man for a new ownership group would be just fine with me.
