There's been a ton of buzz around AP & the Vikings lately. It sounds like AP wants out, but the Vikings have no intention of trading him. Could end up ugly. Had me curious, what would AP net in a trade. Not saying the Titans should trade for him - but I'd give up a 1st, if my roster was right.

Before you say he is old - Don't care. Its Adrian Peterson. AP can easily be a top-5 RB for another 3-4 years. If trading a first took you to super bowl level w/ AP, isn't that worth it? Colts, Pats, Cardinals, Broncos, & Cowboys could be super bowl teams w/ him. Would love to see him in AZ, trade Ellington + 24. Palmer, Fitzgerald, & AP have one last shot at a ring.

I'd swap seconds with them. And give them a third.

Unfortunately, RB value for the end of a career isn't that high and that might be over paying. Our first is def over paying.

I'd rather spend the 33 pick on Gurley if this is what it's coming to.

And I bet there are many teams that would subscribe to this same thinking.

    Watch Seattle trade for him.

Then just run read options every play with him and lynch on the field at the same time.

    *edit*
I'm not being serious. No way that actually happens.

Due to his contract, age, and bad image, he doesn't have much trade value.

Isn't he due like $13mil this season?

I could see a team in the right situation trading a 5th or maybe a 4th at the most. Browns might give up a 1st though.

Him being old is a valid argument too... he's possibly the exception to the 30+ rule, but other than week 1 the guy hasn't played football in well over a year. Even if he's still able to play at a high level, how long can he sustain that play?

Why invest so much trading a high draft pick for a $13mil a year player who may only have a couple of good seasons left? Mid round pick at best IMO.

Dallas would make the most sense, although they probably can't afford him. He'd be an absolute beast behind that OL. And they already signed Greg Hardy. So who cares at this point.

AP should leave Minnesota, they cowarded away and shut him out. I'd say he's worth the 33rd pick with ease

I could see Jerry Jones giving up a conditional 3rd-round pick for him. If he does well, it becomes a 2nd-rounder in 2016. He'd be a monster behind that OL.

I know he's AP but he's 30, been hurt a lot and has baggage. He's not a top 5 RB anymore in a position which has been devalued.

AP would def. ease pressure off of Mett, but of course that's if our OL opens holes for him.

The Titans trading for AP doesn't make a whole lot of sense. We're light years away from competing, trading a high value pick for a 30 year old RB doesn't make sense.
