    Rivers would likely be a 4000+ yd & 30+ td quarterback with that team. Depending on how Gurley + Parker do, we could be verrrrry good.

    Rivers didn't even last the entire season last year. Would not want. We just gotta accept we're rebuilding now.

    Has a blockbuster trade for a aging QB ever really worked out?

    What are you talking about? He played every game...threw for over 4000 yds and 31 tds....missed the playoffs by losing the last game

    Locker's only curse was a body that just would not hold up to the NFL. Yeah, JM is "working on his off the field issues". The same ones he had in college. He basically stole a year's worth of money and time from the Browns because he was more interested in being Johnny Football and being the center of his world and ultimately got exposed. He doesn't have the mentality to make it as a pro because it will always be about him.

    I watched a lot of chargers games for whatever reason, just compare one of his first six games to any of them after. big drop off. lots of dink and dunk. Seriously just go watch two games. or check the stats.

    I seriously don't think he has more than three good years left. Not worth the #2.

    His numbers did taper off after the first 6 or so games for whatever reason. Maybe because he lost Mathews again..Oliver faded as well...Gates was his only option....but my point was you said he didn't finish last year and he did and had his team within one game of playoffs. I'm against trading the #2 for him as well but not against having him as our QB even it is for 2-3 yrs

    I agree with rekirts not liking giving up the #2 for Rivers but what if they include DJ Fluker in the deal?
