Looks like the kids are fighting over the inheritance spoils. In order to appease everyone, it's likely they will sell. I hope.

Jason La Canfora was on 104.5 this morning . I gotta say, this guy has me convinced the team is being sold. He said he's had "far too many" sources inform him of "back channel discussions" for there not to be something to it. Said he's even more convinced with Tommy stepping down as he heard there was a divide in the family on whether or not to sell and Tommy was one of the few who did not want to sell.

With this stuff going on behind the scenes, I really hope we are sold soon or we could get even worse.

I fear that if we are being sold we might as well go ahead and get ready for 2015 to be another wasted year and for yet another "blowup" in 2016. Barring a miraculous turnaround this season you gotta believe a new owner would wanna bring in a new GM who would in turn wanna bring in a new HC who would in turn probably want to bring in his own QB....

My God, can the football Gods be blessing us instead of laughing and playing games with us?

This very well could be the scenario at the end of the 15 season, but I will hold out with hope that we see a lot of positive changes coming to fruition.

Maybe...just maybe... we won't be out to tank the season by midseason (like in 2014). We don't have so many injuries. We draft LW and the defense is much improved. We draft WR or OT to help the offense. And we actually have a decent, competitive type season as well.

    It's possible.

Honestly.....I'd much rather have that than the possible alternative. A behind the scenes family feud that uses the Titans as a pawn. This organization really can become dysfunctional overnight if that happens.

We don't have anything to blow up.

Casey and assuming Wright stay here? Both have proven they can play in any system and are young. Really the only guys that we would need to keep. Sad really.

Oh it's definitely possible. I'm just saying I think we need to have a hell of a turnaround for a new owner to be comfortable continuing on with Webster/Whisenhunt. 7-9 would technically be a hell of a turnaround considering we were 2-14 last year. But is that enough to instill confidence in the new head honcho? I'm not sure. I'm thinking we'd need an 8-8 season at bare minimum for Webster and/or Whisenhunt's jobs to be safe in 2016 under new ownership. 8-8 is possible but we have a tough hill to climb.
