He was here from 2013's post season til 2014's preseason, so not even long enough to take a snap. He's got the raw tools you want to see, but something isn't clicking with him. He's not made the most of his situation either.

Now that Im thinking about Wilson, he's the exact reason we shouldn't even bother with 2nd-7th round QB's this draft, they're all a bunch of Tyler Wilsons in my eyes. Might as well stick it out with Mett and Whitehurst :anon:

Or just sign Brady Quinn

 

At least if that were to happen we wouldn't have to burn 4 years seeing if the next QB here has "it", Quinn would either sink or swim fast.

there's a couple players worth looking at...Felix Jones? Jammal Anderson? Quinn?
You know they would come cheap.

 

I wouldn't hate if Quinn came in as our 4th QB in the summer, he's a solid QB for depth, hopefully we add another QB not named Quinn cause like I said, he'll either sink or swim and if he sucks I dont want him around as our backup/3rd QB

 

With 90 man offseason rosters, its easy to bring in a few of these guys. Id like to see quinn, anderson and maybe leshore (any bruising rb). But worse case they don't make the 53 man roster. What is there to lose.

 

In years past we've lost very few players to roster cuts, mostly all undrafted rookies, so I think we could afford to take a chance on some of these older players, but due to their salary minimums it might not happen.

UNFA's make dirt, vested veterans (4+ years) have guaranteed contracts if on the rosters after week-1
